The idea
Patently was created with one mission: to make patents simple. The idea started in 2006 when the founders were frustrated by how difficult it was to find out who owns what patents. It became clear to them that the market did not offer a solution for this that was fast, intuitive, and embraced new technology.
Fast forward to 2018, when Patently launched: a portal into patents, made by professionals. Since then, Patently has kept growing and innovating, adding to its product family to make the most efficient patent solutions.
Today, the company provides a suite of advanced tools powering the patent industry.
